Series

 Hello again,
Watching series has always been something that I like doing when I want ro relax or when I’m bored. I have watched a lot of series in my life but some of them were unforgettable. But the best one yet is Skins.
Skins is a serie that I discovered long time ago and since then I’m addicted to it. This show is worth sticking with whatever age you are, although it's a bit uneven. Series 1 and Series 2 are different but it's fascinating to watch the stories, and the young actors. It’s also very realistic and it portrays the life of british teenagers. But it’s not just a teeny-drama story, it's top quality essential viewing for anyone with an open mind. The characters are, all very distinct, deep and you learn to care deeply about each one in a short space of time.
The first and the second season, which are my favorite ones, focuse on a group of British teens trying to grow up and learn about love and life with little adult supervision.
My favourite character of the first generarion is Cassie who is an eccentric girl that suffer from anorexia Cassie attempts to hide her own struggles with mental health while her flamboyant parents ignore her in favour of their new baby.
Also my favourite character of the 2nd generation is Effy. She is pretty, popular, but also quiet and distant, attempting to keep her own troubles hidden.

I have watched many other amazing series such as Mr.Robot, American Horror Story, Eye Witness, Greys Anatomy, Teen Wolf, The walking Dead and Game of Thrones...

                                                        MUSIC

I believe that music is one of the most important and powerful things in my life. I’m always listening to it, while doing my homework or eating, before sleeping and just after waking up, and my life without it will be totally empty. Music is a cure for when I’m sad. It’s a part of my life and can express my feelings when my own words are not enough.
I mostly listen to rock and metal, but sometimes, I’m in the mood for other genres.      I usually listen to Arctic Monkeys, Bring Me The Horizon, Green Day, Metallica, The Neighborhood, System of a down, Lana Del Rey, Nirvana, Saez, Fall Out Boy, The Beatles, Ben. E king, The kooks, AC/DC, Oasis, The Pretty Reckless etc…
My current favorite song is "From the Ritz to the rubble" by The Arctic Monkeys; Here is a link of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTSaUYSyvqI
I believe that we should be in harmony with what music says and it talks to us, and pulls at our hearts in most unusual ways, nurturing, comforting, soothing, strengthening us against difficult situations. What would life be like without it ?       Terribly cold and silent, indeed.

Tangier

Hello everyone;
My name is Nisrine Ktari, I’m fifteen years old and I’m from Tangier. I have 2 brothers and one sister and I’m pretty close to them. I’m just a girl who loves reading and writing; I also like traveling around the world, especially in Asia. I’m a big fan of rock/indie music; my currents favorite artists are The neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Nirvana and Bring Me the Horizon. In my free time I just like watching series, eating or reading books; my favorite series are Skins, Mr. Robot and American Horror Story. I can be very ambitious as much as I can be lazy. My friends also describe me as a sarcastic person. I can’t stand retarded and uncultivated people. My ultimate goal is to become a psychiatrist or to work in politics.

I’m very proud of my home town city, Tangier, also called the white city. It lies where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean.During the past few years, it has changed a lot. One of the most popular touristic sites, are the Hercule caves.”Kasbah” where the sultan once lived,is also a well-known place, The palace was built in the 17th century and enlarged by each reigning sultan. Also in the Kasbah is the famous café Detroit, which became a haunt for the visiting and expat writers, and artists in the 60's. There is huge diversity in flavor and culture due to its Berber, Arabian, Spanish, French and Portuguese cultural influences which made it the wonderful city that it is today. Everything in my city is lovely, except some people’s backward mentality.

Can we live without technology ?

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog ! My first article will be about a topic which seems that people have big debates about: "Can we live without technology ?"

In this days, almost every single person uses technology in some way, shape, or form to make life easier, faster, more comfortable and dynamic. Technology has taken an important place in our society. This means that the influence of technology is so boundless that is has already reached all of the people in the world today.

We have become technology dependent, so much that we often fail to realize it. Could we adapt to a world without electricity? I don’t think we could. What about cars? We would not want to walk everywhere we need to. Also many people will feel bad and lost when their cell phones are taken away. Technology has really good aspects. However, too much technology can be bad for people. One study shows that 55 % of students spend 9 hours a day using the social network and just 1 hour to learn and read.

Yet the native populations, who didn’t have technology, lived on the exact same land for thousands of years manage to survive. It is technology which has made us what we are today and if that technology were to disappear then I would say so would we. Some of us may survive but we would not be living.

We simply cannot imagine living without it. It has brought us closer to each other in certain ways and drifted away in others. Without it, our lives would have been harder, poorer, isolated, disconnected, and dangerous.

In conclusion, we can’t live without technology, but we must pay attention to the way which we use it.
